FACTS ABOUT SALT

REGULAR TABLE SALT which may have undergone much processing is mainly sodium chloride and not real salt. Naturally occurring crystal salt consists of several important elements, not just two. These are the elements on which our bodies have been built, the ones found in the oceans where life began.

"SODIUM CHLORIDE without naturally occurring elements is an aggressive substance, which biochemically is perpetually seeking an equalizing counterpart so that the body's pH can always remain neutral - such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and other minerals and trace elements. The result of consuming common table salt is the formation of overly acidic edema, or excess fluid in the body tissue. For every 0.035 ounces of sodium chloride that cannot be eliminated, the body uses 23 times the amount of its own cell water to neutralize the salt. If the sodium chloride is still too high, re-crystallization of the table salt occurs as the body uses available proteins to produce uric acid in order to get rid of the excess salt. This is the cause of arthritis, gout, and kidney and gall bladder stones. "

SEA SALT is often polluted with the waste products that have in recent times been dumped into the ocean waters. Sea salt is usually refined, removing the naturally occurring nutrients that are essential to life. Sea salt is no longer the healthy source of nutrients it once would have been.

"PICTURE 1 of TABLE SALT shows the decomposition during the refining process tore the crystalline components from their framework, their natural symbiosis, and isolated them. "

"PICTURE 2 of SEA SALT shows sea salt to be a combination of crystal salt and table salt, irregular and isolated crystalline structures disconnected from the natural elements surrounding them. "

PICTURE 3 of ORIGINAL HIMALAYAN CRYSTAL SALT shows salt as it was meant to be. The sodium chloride components are left in combination with the other elements that make up the natural world, the elements we need to survive.

"The elements that are trapped within the crystal salt are in particles small enough to be able to penetrate the human cells and be metabolized. Whatever cells do not absorb cannot be metabolized and consequently, is useless to the body. "

Original Himalayan sea salt is essentially sea salt as it once was thousands of years ago - before oil tanker accidents, elevated mercury and cadmium levels, and unrefined. All its original goodness is retained in the salt.

HIMALAYAN CRYSTAL SALT is mined manually, in a special area of the Himalayas. The salt must be mined by hand to preserve the natural goodness.

To the best of our knowledge at time of this printing, our salt is the only Himalayan salt in Canada that meets Health Canada requirements. It has a sodium chloride content of over 99% and meets all Canadian standards, but all other naturally occurring nutrients are also retained.

The body is made up almost entirely of water and salt. It stands to reason then that the quality of these are of the utmost importance to your health. For what amounts to as little as five cents a day, you can ensure that you are giving your body the most nutritious, balanced salt available in the world today.

See for yourself!

"You can make this test at home with vinegar. Take two glasses and add one inch of vinegar to each. Then, in one glass add two tablespoons of regular table salt and the same amount of fine crushed Himalayan crystal salt into the other glass. You will see how the regular table salt will start to foam, (depending on the substitutes used in refining), emitting aggressive chemical gases and how the crystal salt will sink to the bottom and dissolve without any reaction. The reactions in your body are similar. Just as with the vinegar and table salt, your body must sacrifice its own precious energy to neutralize the salt. "
