Time for a science lesson:
Basically, the term fibre refers to the carbohydrates that our bodies can’t digest.
not all fibres are the same; there are generally two types, soluble and insoluble.

What is inulin? we’re glad you asked.
Inulins are a group of naturally occurring oligosaccharides (several simple sugars linked together) produced in the roots of many plants. These plants include onions, garlic, and the chicory root.
Studies have shown that inulin breaks down in the body, forming a gel-like substance in which materials related to high cholesterol are trapped and then passed out of the body.
What else is so great about it?

ADULT DOSAGE: Add a teaspoon or two to at least 125 ml of liquid or soft food, and mix well. Let stand 30 seconds then stir until dissolved. Take up to 3 times daily. For best results, take 20-30 minutes before a meal. Drink lots of water throughout the day. Cut dose in half for children 6 and older. For children under 6, consult a medical practitioner.
